Here we are, I am sitting in the lobby of our hotel in Auckland in my shorts watching the wind sway the plants and trees outside. The door to the lobby is open and i can feel a nice breeze carrying tropical scents past me. The boys are still sleeping, we all slept quickly when we finally hauled all of our luggage from the airport. The clock read 1:30 am local time when i finally closed my eyes.
It's going to take some time to get used to the fact that we are no longer being fed and watered by the airlines. Back to reality and our own dime!
The shuttle service that is driving us to Tauranga is coming at 11am. It is now 10:30 so i better go and start rousting the kids. More from Tauranga.
